Simona Gemelli is a photographer, journalist, sociologist and traveler, even if not exactly in this order. She has lived in many places, met lots of people, played the electric guitar. She sang with South African children, learned a bit of Japanese in Kyoto, she had a fight with a kangaroo in Sydney, photographed 457 times the Moulin Rouge and she has started writing a book about her tour around the world in 100 days. She was born in south of Italy, in a very windy city. Now she lives and works in Rome with her wife and their little daughter Viola Luz.
